The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) organizes the RRB JE exam for the recruitment of junior engineers in the railway department at a satisfactory Basic pay scale of RS. 35,400 /- and other government allowances like HRA (House Rent Allowance), DA (Dearness Allowance), CCA (City Compensatory Allowance), Medical Allowance, Education Allowance, Festival Bonus, Pension Benefits, etc. The RRB organises the Junior Engineer exam for different engineering department like Mechanical and Allied Engineering, Electrical and Allied Engineering, Electronics and Allied Engineering, Civil and Allied Engineering. This year in 2025 the notification is expected in the month of July to September. For applying in RRB JE the candidates should have requisite Educational/Technical qualifications i.e. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in the relevant discipline they desire to apply for RRB JE from a recognized university approved by AICET. Selection process is: -Stage-I Computer Based Test (CBT-I), Stage-II Computer Based Test (CBT-II), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
